Gift Aid offers taxpayers who donate cash to registered charities the opportunity
of increasing the real value of their donations by 28 pence in every pound.

In other words - if you are a taxpayer and if you give, say £5, every week to St Mary’s - by signing the simple form shown here you allow St Mary’s at the end of the year to claim £72.80 from the taxman! Better still, it doesn’t cost you a penny!!

Are there any catches? No. Provided you pay income tax AND you make your donations via our collection envelopes or by direct debit, all you need do is sign the form and we do the rest. It's as simple as that. And you only need to sign it once - no need to renew it each year.
